It all started 30 years ago with a clear call of God and approval of Godly leaders to start a home for orphans & semi orphans.
The work began in 1975 in small a rented home, with 50 needy children in Kotagiri. In 1980 it was shifted to Coonoor, where the work began all over again from the scratch, with mud wall shelters. Over the years with the help of God & well wishers, a moderately comfortable accommodation was provided.
At present we have 20 boys. Due to pressing need and with the encouragement from the well wishers, a girls section with 9 girls was started in August 2007. This work continues in spite of various setbacks for 30 years.
Approximately 400 children have been raised up in DMC home. Many who spend 5 yrs & above in DMC home are now moderately placed in Indian society. By the Grace of God the work continues with the same fervor as it began.
